I'm looking to form a band (Angels and Cowboys) with some dedicated, fun, and talented musicians. Looking for lead guitarist, bassist, drummer, and keyboard to start.I sing newer country music mostly...but love a lot of different styles.. jazz (especially older jazz), folk, soft rock, spiritual.Working on writing my own songs presently - looking for people that like to pour out their souls and really share feelings/emotions/energy with the world.I do a lot of ballad type songs with strong emotional messages - would like a male vocalist to work with b/c I love the blend of male/female voices.Looking to practice once a week and perform once/twice a month.Focus on writing our own music as well - would love to do some fresh mixes of different genres.Influences:Tammy Wynette, Dolly Parton, Martina, Faith, Josh Urban, Alabama, Tricia Yearwood, Dixie Chicks, Frank Sinatra.I'm learning to play guitar but not well enough to play out yet - will get there soon (used to play trumpet in school) so I read music.
