We currently operate two restaurants in Wood Dale and Elk Grove and have expanded our catering division.Construction is underway on our new 3,000 plus square foot state-of-the-art industrial catering kitchen at our Wood Dale property. Independently owned and operated by “Sweet Baby Ray,” the namesake of the #1 top selling, premium barbecue sauce in the nation and Chicagoland’s favorite product, our brand enjoys excellent recognition and client acceptance.The Sweet Baby Ray’s catering experience includes authentic urban barbecue with uniquely smoked meats as well as comprehensive breakfast, lunch and dinner menus prepared by a culinary staff led by six professionally trained chefs. Catering Sales Executive Responsibilities include: Maintain and develop relationships with current client base through scheduled telephone calls, sales calls and follow up correspondence. Execute strategies to develop new business. Respond to and anticipate customer inquiries. Develop proposals and contracts. Attend appropriate trade shows and local meetings in the community to develop networking opportunities. Recognize opportunities to maximize revenue opportunities by up-selling and offering enhancements to create outstanding events. Work with event planners to manage the event's entire experience. Provide excellent guest hospitality. As our Catering Sales Executive, you are the face of the Sweet Baby Ray’s Catering Company with our Clients.You will need to use common sense, tact and skill and occasionally problem solve to ensure total guest satisfaction. Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have prior sales experience in a catering or hospitality environment. We require outstanding written communication and presentation skills and have experience with making outside sales calls to generate catering business. The ability to balance multiple tasks and have a creative, proactive approach to sales will be a definite asset.
