Type of Position: Full TimeHours/Week: 40

Employment Responsibilities:
§Provide curriculum design and academic services for 60+ high school student with a focus on helping students enroll and complete a post secondary program.
§Coordinate assessment materials, hire and train consultants for the Saturday and summer programs. Coordinate outreach campaigns to engage high school students, principals, parents, and colleges.
§Provide day-to-day training opportunities for students in areas of enhanced educational skills as identified and opportunities for academic improvement and advancement.
§Coordinate quarterly college visits throughout the United States as well as the College Fair, which will be hosted annually by Dime Child.
§Seek and coordinate volunteer tutors to provide one on one tutoring sessions for students.
§Serves as a liaison with high schools, colleges, instructors, businesses and other student resources.
§Implement all strategies associated with internal operations.
§Act as liaison between staff, students, parents and managers of student services.
OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED


Minimum Qualifications:
§BA in education social work or similar field, with teaching certificate
§Experience in working or teaching low-income, first generation college students
§3+ years of experiences in the college and financial aid application processes
§Knowledge of college requirements, coursework and testing procedures
§Good presentation, communication and writing skills
