St. Charles home daycare is looking for a full time teacher. Bilingual-Spanish preferred. Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 6 ECE credits, or 1 year of experience working with children in a professional environment, be EXTREMELY DEPENDABLE,and pass a criminal background check with fingerprinting. We are a DCFS licensed group daycare home and care for 12 pre-school children ages two to five years. We teach pre-school in the mornings, and you will be expected to both help teach and develop the curriculum. Hours are 8:30am to 5:15pm, Monday through Friday. Possible live-in for right person, but very small bedroom
Duties include but are not limited to:
Constant supervision of children in home
Changing diapers
Preparation of meals
Actively contribute to curriculum development & implementation
Teaching/listening to children read (Hooked on Phonics)
Daily arts/crafts
Clean and Organize classroom.
