Since we're posting this on Craigslist, we seem to recieve a lot of responses that have zero chance of us responding, so let me start by telling you what I don't want:

·International Freelance Companies offering me PhDs forthe bargin price of 12.00 p/ hour. No thanks and no offense, it's just that I think we should see other people. It's me, not you.
·Resume Spammers. You know who you are, unfortunately we do too, so just stop it.

·Someone who loves to do front end web design. I can't stress this enough. It is eeking through your skin. (you might want to see someoneabout that)
·Someone who wants to take the leap from being a lowly corporate web lackey to kick-ass web rock star.
·Someone who wants to work FULL TIME - ON SITE at a small,growing and established web and software company.
·Someone who can throw in the occasional obscure movie reference without losing focus.
·Someone who can articulate the WHY about a design, not just that it looks good.
·Someone who has a solid handle on existing front-end web development technologies.
·Someone who is interested in exploring new and upcoming technologies.
·Someone who can both, smack down a project with their front-end development skills and show the love through their creative vision and interface design.
·Someone who is a team player with sense of humor and great work ethic.
Listen, we really want to hire someone who can create an experience that wows us, the end users, and our clients. Your work will (potentially) be seen by millions of adoring internet fans across the world (they will name streets after you) (maybe not). You have to be up to this task! What does this mean? You absolutely must be able to know how to think through issuesabout separation of content and presentation, web accessibility, good codethat validates, semantic HTML, etc. You have to be able to put all of these elements together with elegantly defined and organized CSS (and tables where necessary). You have to pull those pieces together to thrill and excite the people who touch our products or the products we produce for our clients. Is this you?
Responsibilities:
You will participate in all phases of front-end development – requirements gathering, UI design, implementation for production, and ongoing maintenance – of the client-side code for web sitesand web applications. You will be working as an interactive visual designer and web developer to design and build solutions for web based software. You will have complete ownership of front-end code –meaning you will be responsible for keeping the code to industry standards andadvocating best practices within the team.
·Work with the product team to design interfaces for web applications
·Create prototypes appropriate for a given stage in development
·Coordinate with server-side engineers to design and develop new functionality
·Architect, develop, and maintain production-quality code
Requirements:
·Experience developing web sites and web applications
·Solid web design skills visible through portfolio pieces
·XHTML: must be able to hand-code valid, semantic and accessible markup
·CSS:must be able to create clean mostly table-less layouts using only CSS
·JavaScript: must be able to validate a form, manipulate CSS via the DOM, ETC.
·Photoshop, Fireworks: Ability to manipulate and optimize graphics
·Understanding of Web Accessibility and Standards Compliance
·Solid cross-platform and cross-browser development experience
Sure would be nice to have:
·Expertise in platform idiosyncrasies and degrading functionality and presentation gracefully
·Experience working within a fast-paced multi-disciplinary team
·Experience with bringing a web site or application to market
·Experience working with Moodle or other open source platforms
·Experience working with Flash and Actionscript 3
·Some experience working with server-side code – preferably PHP, Ruby, MySQL, .Net
·Some interface design skills & creativity would be great also
