Poverty is a reality for nearly half the world’s population, almost 3 billion people. Of those, more than 1 billion subsist on less than $1 a day. Children International, one of the top-rated US charities, provides real help and real hope to communities in poverty. It is a humanitarian organization dedicated to attacking the causes of poverty - providing health, educational and emotional aid to impoverished children around the world. One-to-one sponsorship gives these children the opportunity to break the cycle of poverty and realize their full potential.
