The Safer Foundation is a nationally-recognized, Chicago-based, private, not-for-profit organization assisting individuals with criminal records by providing employment assistance and supportive services to help them transition back into mainstream society and the workplace.
We have a new and exciting job readiness training initiative working with the Southwestern Illinois Correctional Center (SWICC)in East St. Louis, IL and are seeking a Program Evaluator. This position will be located in Chicago with frequent visits to SWICC in East St. Louis, Illinois.
The SWICC Program Evaluator`s responsibilities include collecting and analyzing data related to the program.In addition, the Evaluator willreport on the overall effectiveness of the program based on the data collected and identify areas needing improvement.
Job Duties:
„«Design, develop, implement and maintain a quantifiable process that objectively measures and authenticates the effectiveness of service delivery to participants in accordance with Safer Foundation`s standards and contractual requirements.
„«Must work with outside IT vendors to create customized reports from database system.
„«Act as liaison between IDOC representatives and other departments within the Safer Foundation.
„«Must develop and facilitate processes, tools, communications, training and research methodologies that support the objective evaluation of program successes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
„«Minimum 3 years previous experience specifically related to data analysis and program evaluation.
„«Must have intermediate to expert skill level in MS Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
„«Ability to write and communicate clearly and effectively.
„«Must have working knowledge of various statistical methodologies.
„«Must have a high level of interpersonal skills.
„«Ability to interact/communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization both internally and externally.
„«Detailed oriented, ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and both work independently and in a group setting.
„« Must be self-reliant, resourceful and outcome driven.
ACADEMIC BACKGROUND:
„«Bachelor`s Degree required; Master`s Degree preferred.
