Senior Financial Analyst
A leader in the consumer products industry is currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join its office in the northern Chicago suburbs. The analyst is responsible for the price accounting planning processes and monthly reporting and analysis for company products.Specific duties include the following:
-Provide timely, accurate and insightful analysis on Institutional allowances and make recommendations on addressing variances and developing corrective actions.
-Manage and maintain business rule allocation of allowances and daily sales adjustments in a timely manner.
-Analyze and manage the chargeback accrual balance.
-Provide timely, accurate and insightful analysis on the chargeback expense for all Institutional products including a monthly rate analysis of chargebacks paid.
-Communicate and report accruals vs. plan/forecast to Institutional brand analysts.
-Develop and consolidate the financial plans/forecasts associated with gross to net price components and estimated price erosion that are accurate, well written and professionally presented for senior management review
-Analyze and manage accruals for rebates, administration fees and distributor fees.
-Complete documentation and testing for SOX compliance per Division schedule. All testing scopes to meet Corporate requirements and be properly documented.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-5-7 years of applicable experience in diversified finance/accounting roles
-Excellent analytical, problem solving skills and oral/written communication skills.
-Possess proven leadership skills and demonstrate the ability to complete assignments involving all levels of management and functional areas.
-Ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks is a must.
-Strong PC/system skills. Excel expertise is a must.
-Bachelor Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance; CPA and/or MBA desirable.
