Job Description:
MWH's National Resources Industry & Infrastructure division is seeking a Senior Project Manager to be based out of our downtown Chicago, IL office in support of our global hydropower and water resource projects.
The position involves all aspects of project management for small to large-sized international hydroelectric and water resources projects. Duties may include: proposals, planning, budgeting, recruiting, staffing, client relations, financial management, technical management, coordination of multi-discipline engineering efforts, subcontract administration, coordination of contractors, and contract and claims management. Projects will generally be international, in remote locations. International travel will be required. Supervisory Responsibility: Up to 10 senior engineers; as many as 50 local hires/designers/inspectors.
Experience Required:
Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field; minimum 15 years experience in heavy civil or mechanical engineering and or construction management. International experience. Field experience. Written and spoken English fluency. Second language fluency preferred. Professional Engineer's Registration or equivalent preferred.
