Socialtext is hiring Web developers to integrate our award-winning enterprise wiki/blog application into our customers' enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will have both excellent technical credentials and a friendly, can-do, consultative approach to solving a clients needs. Bonus points if Perl is just one of your language/platform passions.

Required attributes
* Passion about social and collaborative online applications
* Perl, Directory Integration, REST, scripts, and CSS experience.
* Ability to creatively plan and solve problems
* Clear communications in writing, by phone, and in person
* Comfort working in a distributed agile team
* Breadth and depth of computer programming expertise
* Experience developing online software services
* Ability to scope new projects and deliver on time, on quality
* Desire to solve real problems for cool customers
* Document exceptions and field customizations for inclusion into core product
Desired attributes
* 5+ years programming experience with a LAMP stack
* 3+ years web development, including Perl, Directory Integration, SharePoint
* Web 2.0 and customer facing developer experience
* Experience deploying x86 servers, TCP/IP networking, IPC, cron jobs, etc.
* Facile developing in a variety of programming languages and environments
* Startup and scaling experience handy.
