Senior Treasury Analyst needed for large, rapidly growing manufacturing company located just west of Chicago.Duties include special projects including tracking capital expenditures, opening financials, and tracking operating expenses for mergers and acquisitions, strategic alliances and joint ventures.Strong communication skills needed to discuss risks and cost perspectives to foreign businesses and partnerships.Major financial project initiatives will require that you assist the implementation of programs to reduce costs of purchased materials, programs to reduce productive cycle times and improve through-puts, evaluate alternative production schemes, integrate new business models and support review of new business proposals.You will also be charged with the management of cost budgets and forecasts in that you will have to assemble and consolidate budgets and forecasts for gross margin analysis by product line and drive consistency across the business.Candidate will act as the liaison with controllers to advance department’s tools and methodologies.You will also manage department staff and manage the department deployment of the new SAP module.Requirements of the position include a business degree in accounting, finance or related discipline, strong knowledge of accounting theory and practices including GAAP, multi-national manufacturing experience or corporate treasury experience, high analytical ability, travel globally as required and possess good written and verbal communication skills.SAP experience and CPA or CMA highly desired.
