A growing structural engineering consulting firm in Evanston is searching for a few structural engineers to add to our team.Our firm works on a wide variety of projects, such as apartment buildings, loft conversions, schools, office buildings, and other commercial, industrial and residential projects.We also perform inspections of buildings (including facades of tall buildings) and do structural plan reviews for municipalities, including the City of Evanston. We are looking for Structural Engineers, from new Graduates to Licensed SE’s, having studied building design utilizing steel, concrete, wood and masonry is required.Working knowledge of AutoCAD is essential; we prefer knowledge in AutoCAD 2006 or newer.Duties include drafting Principal’s (SE) hand drawings to complete project structural design & calculations. Working knowledge of engineering software is also necessary.
